Week 7Predictions

This Sunday the CAFFL will bring us two exciting match ups, the Mustangs will face off against the Bandits  while the Vipers take on the Elites. Our three CAFFL writers will give their predictions and tell you how they think the games will be played out.  

Mustangs vs Bandits 

The Mustangs showed signs of weakness against the Elite in Week 6 but I believe that they get everything back together against the Bandits. Jackson Davis continues to look like the potential league MVP and with leaders like D.J. Hayes and Austyn Harvey they showed be geared up and ready to go. 

The Mustangs defense looked soft as tissue paper against the Elite, and I don't think they'll have enough time to fix it. I believe Brett Meeks has completely transformed this offense at the quarterback position and with skill players like Nate Gay, Shawn McCoy, and Justin Burleson this team has all the makings to beat the Mustangs. 

Bandits believe they have their guy at quarterback but this is a different world when it comes to taking on the Mustangs. I think they release all their frustrations and anger onto the Bandits and make a statement on Sunday. 

Vipers vs Elite 

The Vipers are having numerous internal issues in their organization and that's is not good this late in the season. The Elite are on fire even with a 7 point loss to the Mustangs last week. I think Team Captain Easton Thomas has done a terrific job of keeping every players spirit high as they have gone through the ups and downs of the season. 

I believe that the Vipers will have other things on their mind during this weekends game against the Elite, and I think the Elite will take full advantage of this. The Elite have really started to hit their stride on offense while their defense is still trying to catch up. However I still like the Elite to win big in this one. 

Talk about two teams on an opposite trajectory the Elite who are now sitting at number 3 in the current Power Rankings are playing their best football while the Vipers are falling apart at the seams. I'm going to be a little crazy with this one however and pick the Vipers that is if they are at full strength with guys like Adrian Morris and Terrance Floyd.
